Planting by the Stars - Testers
Later open experiments - 2013 / 2014 - 2021 -
In her calendar, Maria Thun warns of the necessity of experience
for making good recommendations. This is something I can't offer you.
But as I have no old hand, on hand, to ask for this particular requirement
- that of picking really bad times and reasonable nearby times so that contrasting crops
might be seen - I am working through the ephemeris to give you the benefit
of my sincere inexperience.
Below are
our recommendations for planting which might manifest
a good contrast. We have chosen assisting and contrary
times for roots, leaves, flowers and seed crops for the early and late
planting and sowing, or Northern and southern Springs. I have given
times of day but usually the whole day carries the flavour of, for
instance, an eclipse. There are better choices of promising
date for good crops - the ones I have shown are close in time to the
real stinkers, usually eclipses, so it is more likely that the differences which
(might) show up are due to the celestial influence. This is
designed to offer encouragement that this slightly off-the-map hypothesis
is not a waste of your time.
If you are going to plant 3000 Hectares of your cash crop based
on these times please be aware that we are not yet willing
to take the rap if you do not get the results you would desire: this
is research work in progress. However, I would like those who think
this Lunar planting is bonkers to have a go at planting 3000 Hectares
of cash crop at a 'dismal' time. Even If I am not ready to put my money
where my mouth is, that needn't stop you! If you do go ahead,
send us your results.

Information takes a while to create and since there has been no outcry for more I will wait until there is a request to bring these suggestions up to date and ready for the following seasons.
