General description
Calc. fluor. is Schuessler's "bone salt". It is found at the surfaces of bones, the enamel in teeth, in elastic fibres and the cells of the epidermis. These latter have significance in plant use. Induration, threatening suppuration. Spot blotch, stem rot and stem nematode. The skin or bark is dry and harsh.

Affectations on the stems, trunks and twigs. Hard, swollen nodes. Stem rot (Dothiorella spp.), spot blotch (Septoria spp), stem end rot in avocado, stem nematode (Meloidogyne spp.): . (3)
General Appearance
Bases of plants swollen. Tillers may be distorted, stunted, and more numerous than healthy plants. The nematode causes a brown rot at the base of the plants which tend to die prematurely. (3)

Leaves
Dark brown oblong spots or lesions on leaves and sheaths, often with yellow surrounds. (3)
Fruit
A dark brown to black rot begins at stem end, and gradually progresses down the fruit. Rot on avocados. (3)

The study of five homeopathic medicines (Calcarea fluorica 30 CH, Calcarea iodatum 30 CH, Calcarea phosphoric 30 CH, Calcarea carbonica 30 CH and Compound C3.), in the chive crop, verifying its influence on the fresh weight production in this crop, since there are highly significant among the different treatments, in some cases there were increases substantial with respect to the untreated control, while in others the fresh weight production. Resulting as the best treatment Calcarea fluorica 30 CH. (1667)
