George Trevelyan from the famous historian/ Northumberland landowner/ ‘aristocrat socialist’ family is staying at Camphill Heathcot after completing his training in The Alexander Technique and deeply impressed with Rudolf Steiner’s indications. He goes on to be Warden of Attingham Park in Shropshire where this transformed country house becomes a centre for adult education and new ideas, a new chapter for the country house, no more hunting and shooting here! Dr Thomas Weihs is a frequent visitor lecturing on Anthroposophy and Rudolf Steiner.
