Kings Langley Priory

Miss Cross is one of the heroes of BD. She typed manuscripts, offered her garden, tried to give The Priory to the AAF in perpetuity for BD research … and was then side-lined after the war as the AAF and BDA joined together. The land was notable for its beautiful garden and for adopting BD methods in 1930.

Perhaps worthy of notice is that when Rudolf Steiner came to the UK in 1922 (his 6th visit to the UK – he came 10 times in all between 1902 and 1924) he came to Kings Langley.
