Gregory Barton’s 2018 rigorous defence of Sir  Albert Howard’s organic legacy from his life story to the Indore Compost System and The Hunza tribe. New evidence of his life and work from family records stored in a Birmingham garage now in Cambridge University is covered and Howard’s relentless goal to demystify organic practice means Rudolf Steiner’s Biodynamic approach is given short shrift as ‘muck and magic’ and dismissed. Important work insofar as to show in academic circles that Howard’s organic method is not a ‘Western Construct’ to interfere with developing countries agriculture rather taking inspiration from the practices of first nation peoples.
