Chair spoke of difficulties facing farmers. He supported the reporting of unsuccessful research. Outlook at Broome now more promising.

A questionnaire re conference themes to be sent out to members for the 1970 conference.

Mr Soper was disappointed “over starting the BD holding under SA auspices a Haughley: It was generally agreed that it would be worthless to start this project unless the person in charge was in full sympathy with our methods.”
