ABSTRACT: The objective of this research was to evaluate the effect of high dilutions of Natrum muriaticum, limestone shells, on the mineral composition of onion bulbs in the organic system. The experiment was carried out in 2011 crop cycle under field conditions at Epagri (Agricultural Research and Rural Extension Service Agency of Santa Catarina State), Brazil. The cultivar was 362 Epagri Crioula Alto Vale. Treatments were foliar sprays with high dilutions of lime shells 6CH, 12CH Natrum muriaticum, used alone and combination of high dilutions of lime shells 6CH with Natrum muriaticum 12CH and untreated control plot. Lime shells 6CH presented bulbs with higher values of P and K. The combination of lime shells and Natrum muriaticum presented bulbs with higher levels of Fe, Ca, and Na. The contents of Se and Si in the bulbs were similar among treatments. The mineral composition of bulbs showed the following order in the nutrient, K> P> Ca> Na> Si> Fe> Se.
