ABSTRACT: Considering the importance of the tomato crop, grows the search of new alternatives to control the root-knot disease, caused by the nematode Meloidogyne incognita. This study aimed to evaluate the influence of the homeopathic product Cina in the number of root galls, eggs and J2 present in the root of the tomato. The dynamizations used were 12, 24, 50, 100, 200, and 400CH. It was also used the chemical carbofuran and 70% ethanol as control treatments. The assay was conducted in pots in greenhouse. Approximately 5000 eggs and 500 J2 were inoculated in each pot. The homeopathic drug was applied weekly by foliar spray, diluted with water to 0.1%. Evaluations were made 50 days after transplanting of the tomato seedlings. Cina had no effect on reducing the number of galls and J2 present in infected roots, however, the 12CH showed the same effect of the chemical treatment on the number of eggs present in the roots, and had a better result than the other homeopathic dynamizations.
