ABSTRACT: The homeopathy is a tool to optimize the germination and growth of plants. The objective of this study was to evaluate the germination of Salvia hispanica L. (chia) in different homeopathic solutions of Carbo vegetabilis and Natrum muriaticum (6, 12, 18, 24 and 30CH) and control (destilled water). Chia seeds subjected to accelerated aging, were distributed into Petri plates containing homeopathic solutions and placed in BOD at 25°C for 1 week. Each petri dish contained 50 seeds, with 4 replicates per treatment, totaling 200 seeds per treatment. The variables evaluated were mean germination time, rate of germination, germination percentage, shoot length, root length, shoot and root length, fresh mass and total dry mass. In all variables observed significant differences compared to control, except fresh weight and total dry.
