EFFECT OF HOMEOPATHIC PREPARATIONS OF Escherichia coli IN MINERAL WATER

ABSTRACT: The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of Escherichia coli
bacterium in mineral water by electrical conductivity (CE) and hydrogen potential (pH).
It was adopted the completely randomized design with fourteen treatments
(dinamyzations: D1, D2, D3, D4, D5, D6, D7, D8, D9, D10, D11, D12 of Escherichia
coli, mother tincture of Escherichia coli and control: distilled water), with four
replications. The experimental plot was a borosilicate glass filled with 40 mL of the
mineral water, where it was applied five drops of each treatment. Solution pH and CE
were evaluated immediately after treatments applications and 24, 48 and 72 hours later.
Data were submitted to variance analysis and Tukey test at 5% probability. The
Homeopathic preparations caused change on pH and CE of the mineral water.
