CA Viecelli; NP Henkemeier; JC Carvalho.

ABSTRACT: The culture of cabbage (Brassica oleracea capitata) has great
importance in the horticulture. The objetive this study was to evaluate the efficiency of
propolis homeopathic solutions in controlling leaf blight Xanthomonas campestris pv.
campestris in cabbage. Plants were grown in plastic pots with capacities of 20 L. The
treatments consisted of two homeopathic potencies of propolis and 3 numbers of
applications, in addition to plants that received distilled water (control), with 5
repetitions. The severity assessment occurred 28 days after the first application, with the
aid of software AFSoft 1.0. Data were analyzed by ANOVA with the aid of the
statistical SISVAR and Tukey test at 5% probability. The results indicate a control of
53.45 and 66.38% in one and two applications in concentration 12CH respectively. The
other treatments did not differ from the control. It is concluded that the propolis
homeopathic solutions is effective to control X. campestris pv. campestris in cabbage
