ABSTRACT: Aiming to contribute to developing alternative methods for the control of
plant diseases using homeopathy, the present work studied the antimicrobial activity of
the homeopathic drugs Calcarea carbonica and Phosphorus against Sclerotinia
sclerotiorum, both in dynamization of 6, 12, 24, 36 and 48CH. The variables evaluated
were the number of sclerotia and micelial growth. The experimental design used was
randomized blocks with five replications and the comparison between the averages
performed through the Tukey test at 5% of probability. For the variable micelial growth,
only drugs Calcarea carbonica 6 and 24CH differed from the control water, but with an
increase of fungal growth up 346% and 123%, respectively. Although no statistical
difference for variable number of sclerotia, some drugs such as Phosphorus 24 and
36CH and Calcarea carbonica 24CH, reduced this parameter up 45%, 37% and 32%,
respectively, the number of sclerotia when compared to control water.
