CONTROL OF Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola ON CABBAGE FLOWER WITH PROPOLIS HOMEOPATHIC SOLUTIONS

CA Viecelli; NP Henkemeier; JC Carvalho

ABSTRACT: The objective of this work was to evaluate the efficiency of propolis
homeopathic solutions in controlling leaf blight Pseudomonas syringae pv. maculicola
in cabbage flower. Cabbage flower plants were grown in plastic pots with capacities of
20 L. The treatments consisted of two propolis homeopathic potencies and 3 numbers of
applications, in addition to plants that received distilled water (control), with 5
repetitions each. The severity assessment occurred 28 days after the first application,
with the aid of software AFSoft 1.0. Data were analyzed by ANOVA with the aid of the
statistical SISVAR and Tukey test at 5% probability. The results show a control of
51.37% to bacterial cauliflower concentration of 12CH with three applications. The
other treatments did not differ from the control. It is concluded that the homeopathic
propolis 12CH is effective in controlling P. syringae pv. maculicola in the culture of
cabbage flower.
