ABSTRACT: The objective of this study was to evaluate the efficiency of propolis in
homeopathic solutions for control of angular leaf spot of bean (Pseudocercospora
griseola). The bean plants were grown in plastic pots with a capacity of 10 L. The
treatments consisted of two homeopathic potencies of propolis and 3 numbers of
applications, in addition to plants that received distilled water (control), with 5
repetitions. The severity assessment occurred 28 days after the first application, with the
aid of software AFSoft 1.0. Data were analyzed by ANOVA with the aid of the
statistical SISVAR and Tukey test at 5% probability. Results indicate 52.46% control of
angular leaf spot of bean, for concentration of 12CH, with 3 applications. The other
treatments did not differ from the control. It is concluded that the propolis homeopathic
solutions displays efficiency in the control of fungus P. griseola.
