We have arranged for Enzo Nastati of the Homeodynamic Association in Italy to come to the UK in May 2007. I hope that you will all feel welcome and inspired to attend. There are three days which are broadly similar introductory seminars but there will be a slightly different emphasis for those who wish to attend all three - as I will. The difference will be particularly marked in the evening lectures which can be attended alone or along with the workshop. Three introductory workshops in May 2007

Enzo Nastati, former head of Demeter in Italy, began formal work with seed regeneration in 1987. The association "L'Albero della Vita" was formed in Trieste in April 1991 to develop the new possibilities which evolved from early successes. In the subsequent years of study, research and experimentation, over 100 preparations have been developed for agriculture - including products for purification of plants and soils, repellents of parasites and weeds, preparations and seed baths that stimulate particular impulses in the plants, and products that help plants suffering from meteorological stress. The association has also made developments in sensitive crystallization, water vitality, protection against electro-magnetic pollution, resistance to cross-pollination from GMOs, farm and garden design, architecture, and work with animals including bees. The discipline is called ‘homeodynamic agriculture’ to recognise that the use of potentised preparations has been built firmly upon the basis of Dr Rudolf Steiner’s biodynamic agriculture.

Enzo's workshops and evening lectures have been and gone. They were remarkable events. It seems to me that we have someone speaking with authority on the difficulties raised by the Agriculture course and making a very satisfying job of it too. If this weren't enough there are the practical results which are emerging from this deep penetration of the issues.

For those who couldn't be there - well get to the next one. If you speak English come to England in January 2008, If you speak Italian you can get to him sooner. Have your questions ready.

These notes that I have taken will be a pale reflection of the event but perhaps they can stimulate enough appetite and give some idea of what we have here. I should emphasise that they are 'unrevised by the lecturer'. Enzo's own works are in Italian but if anyone has time and expertise - or finances to get others to assist - we have permission to make them available in English.

On Monday Enzo addressed about 40 people at Oaklands Park - some of the Water Association, apprentices and other land workers, some visitors, a vet homeopath - and these are the notes I took. [pdf - 316Kb]. A brief introduction to his work and then into deciphering the structure of the Agriculture course. The brief mention of clay in lecture 2 starts to assume massive importance, and the hope of finding ones way through the confusion of the 'compost' preps is offered. The differentiation of life into Zoe and Bios provides a crucial conceptual key and the sole aim of an agriculturalist is revealed. An examination of Zoe is made and the two-fold clay actions and the way of Raphael and Michael is sketched, teasing the role of intention and deliberate action from eachother. The surprising role of grape juice is suggested with an example of its efficacy. Potentisation is explored and its ability to open up the potential of the genome is explored. Examples given of sweetness, large rye heads and humus creation. Connecting Zoe and Bios can be done in various ways and some are explored. the strange introduction of protein and the philosophers stone in lecture 3 is disected. Ways of bringing in missing elements and diminishing excess ones are discussed - the word 'alchemy' begins to fit in. Why does N mean 'without life', and how does it fit with clay, humus, gold, and the preparations? can we heal with light and did the old farmers already get this? And what of the Holy nights? How does this relate to the Mayan calendar? Time is short and we need to be dogma-free and get busy.

In the evening some more joined us for a talk about water [pdf - 212 Kb]. The metameric principle and when to use it for Bios water and when to use other forms for Zoe water. The work of the Greeks, the Romans, the Templars and the Incas is described. And what of us with our urgent problems? How can we repair water and still make agriculture inexpensive? The great latin rip off. The use of the irrational numbers. Bach's knowledge of this. Sensitive crystallisation as a means to verify some of this.

The road show went up to Edinburgh. The day lecture [pdf - 212Kb] was another introduction but started by comparing chemical, organic and biodynamic agricultures. Experiments in repelling GM pollen were detailed. The evolution of all the earthly kingdoms and the responsibility of humans and particularly of BD practitioners. Ashes. The chemical, organic and BD lemnisci. The preparations and the course of the year. Living nitrogen, dead nitrogen and hatred. 7 types of hydrogen. GM and the retreat of the group souls. The deserts between the zodiac and the milky way. The spiritual Foundations of Renewal of Agriculture, dogma, and building on the foundations. Mohammed, Zarathustra and Jesus. 7 ways to connect Zoe and Bios.

In the evening Enzo talked about bees [pdf - 100 Kb]. It was in at the deep end with Occult Science and the incarnations of the Earth showing that bees are a mixture of Old Saturn's sacrifice and Old Suns gift - alloyed as love. Old bee keepers got it but we are wiser and use squares and iron. Who is the bee - time for maths on Queen, workers and drones. Who is varroa? What to do with this insight - several things and the best is to draw a hexagon!?

Via a wonderful few hours at the Roslyn Chapel we arrived in Yorkshire at Botton Village. The day was dedicated to the 'farm organism' [pdf - 180 kb] and we were warned that this is the most difficult way to connect Zoe and Bios and it should be a long long course. However, we can only try. Thorns from Darwin and Steiner. Lecture 4 as revised lecture 1, lecture 5 as revised lecture 2. Daring to bring the 'compost preps' out of the compost heap. Turning Ca to N. Witchcraft? Clay preparation over the last 15 years, and other forms of therapy. The three sorts of trees and placing them on the land. Orchards, bees, forests, birds, ponds and annual plants. We went out in the fields and the notes are scarce but the ability is clearly there in the field as in the classroom and laboratory. Proportions of the various 'organs'.
