Summary
The succussion phase in the preparation phase of UHDs ("potentisation") is described within the frame of fluid dynamics. The mechanical mixing of the process is discussed in terms of saddle flow, vortex flow, shear flow, and diffusion flow. With respect to the drug dissolving process the relevances of the different flows are discussed. By analyzing the flows it may be
implicated that the diffusion flow gives rise to the most active force of preparing UHDs.
