The Biodynamic Association is unique among UK accredited organic certification bodies in that we certify both biodynamic farming and food to Demeter standards, and organic farming and food to organic standards. We are looking for a bright, energetic, and ambitious person, who shares our passion for biodynamic and organic food and farming to manage our certification team as we move forward and grow the business post-Brexit.
Our successful candidate will have good people management skills, will relish the detail of certification, have great attention for quality and business management and the ability to ensure that the organic and biodynamic principles that inspire our licensees inform all aspects of certification.

Seeking a Communications Officer
The Biodynamic Association (BDA) is seeking a hands on person with a strong mix of Communications and IT skills to be responsible for the day-to-day communications and managing parts of our business functions.
Preferred candidate will have an interest in biodynamic and organic food and farming, great interpersonal skills, understanding of and expertise in social media, good IT skills and abilities to understand and promote ideas and business activities. Interested in making a difference and hard work.
The Communications officer will deliver the strategy of communications, marketing and promotion for the Biodynamic Association, its activities and its licensees, ensuring the BDA successfully delivers on it objectives as expressed in its charitable objects and strategy through a variety of media, events and activities.
This person will work closely with each area of activity within the BDA. 30 hours a week on an employed basis (0.8FTE), days and times are negotiable, based in the Stroud office. Deadline for applications: 13th December, interviews will be on 20th Dec – job to start as soon as possible – send CV and expression of interest to: astanyer@biodynamic.org.uk. Salary: around £25,000 (FTE equivalent) dependent on experience.
