ABSTRACT: Coffee leaf rust is the most important coffee disease in Brazil. Despite the effectiveness, chemical control is expensive and results in several health and environmental impacts. Alternative control of coffee rust with homeopathic preparations was carried in the region of Alta Mogiana, estate of São Paulo, Brazil. Four pulverizations with a complex of Silicea 6 CH, Sulfur 6 CH, Arsenicum album 6 CH and Ferrugem 30 CH were done between December 2011 and May 2012. Macroscopic analysis demonstrated that plants treated with homeopathy showed less spots than plants treated conventionally. Furthermore, homeopathic preparations induced shoot growing, better pattern of vegetative growth and less defoliation.
