Abstract: This study aimed to evaluate the effects of activacted doses of teak (Tectona
grandis) pyroligneous extract in the in vitro development of the fungus Ceratocystis
fimbrata. The experiment was conducted at the Microbiology Laboratory and Plant
Pathology of UNEMAT in a 5x2 factorial arrangement with 5 treatments (water,
tinctures, 5CH, 15CH and 30CH potencies) and 2 doses (10 and 20 droplets) in Petri
dishes (pour-plate method), assessing the effect on mycelial growth, the percentage of
growth inhibition (CIP) at a concentration of spores mL-1. There was no interaction
between treatments and doses. With respect to mycelial growth treatments tested exert a
fungistatic action, differing from those of the control; enrolling statistical difference
between doses. The potencies used in vitro affects in the mycelial growth and
sporulation of Ceratocystis fimbrata.
