ULTRA-DILUTED SOLUTIONS OF Sulphur IN EMERGENCY, DRY MATTER, ROOT LENGTH AND INCIDENCE OF DISEASE IN Glycine max (SOYBEAN)

ABSTRACT: Under conditions of stress, plants trigger defense mechanisms, not
always effective in combating damages caused by external agents (noxas). Homeopathic
preparations can contribute as tools which stimulate defense mechanisms when facing
phytopathology agents. The study aimed to observe the effects produced by the
homeopathic Sulphur on germination, rooting and increasing of soybean immunity
(Glycine max), when exposed to fungal contamination. Preliminary study showed that
the Sulphur 30CH medicine demonstrated an increase in Glycine max rooting. The
experiment design in vases was completely randomized, with 3 replications and
disposed on a 5 x 6 bifatorial arrangement, evaluating five cultivars of Glycine max,
under the influence of Sulphur (0, 6CH, 9CH, 12CH, 30CH and 200CH). The stature of
the plant, the length of the longest root, the fresh and dry masses of aerial parts and
roots have been assessed. The results showed a positive response to treatment; some
dynamizations incrementing the fresh and dry masses of aerial parts and roots, and there
was a positive effect for the Mildew-infected soybean cultivarsin all the dynamizations.
