Classically all you need is the glassware and, if you are going to use it - see other thread - pure alcohol (in practice about 96%). Everything is as clean as possible. Again I have to say this makes no sense in the mainstream paradigm because if a fly walks on the test tube it will leave greater ma...

Thanks for joining in. It sure seems like a no-brainer - that the soil must be about right before we can start thinking of curing anything through whichever additional discipline. Dr Steiner, in his agriculture course , would agree with you but also want to say more. He says that rational manuring w...

That is a good question. Glen Atkinson writes about this various zodiacs and Nick Kollerstrom's upcoming book Farmer's Moon also does. You can look at this page to discuss it bit further: http://considera.org/pbtsplanttime.html One of the reasons for this site is to nail this question as there are t...

Re: Potentize?
The part “potentise this to the 6th decimal dilution” is what I’m a bit ignorant about. If I recall something I have read somewhere, potentize means to shake the water. If this is so, how many times do I shake the water bottle? Can you give me some info on how this is done or refer me to a webpage ...

Welcome aboard Jim Degrees Brix (symbol °Bx) is a measurement of the mass ratio of dissolved sugar to water in a liquid. It is measured with a saccharimeter that measures specific gravity of a liquid or more easily with a refractometer. A 25 °Bx solution is 25% (w/w), with 25 grams of sugar per 100 ...

Stella Natura article 2008
Sherry Wildfeuer commissioned an article for the 2008 Stella Natura calendar . There's a new one in the 2009 calendar but I'll wait until that is off the shelves before posting that article here. ______________________ In last year’s calendar, Sherry was good enough to mention the web site that I cr...

Study Group
If anyone happens to be within striking distance of Stroud in the SW UK there is a study group which is going to work with Enzo's Commentary on the Koberwitz Course. This will have two functions - the first is the study for its own edifying potential. The second is to get some feedback on the transl...

IBIG article
The International Biodynamic Initiative Group (IBIG) met in Feb 2008. I was asked to write something up for Star and Furrow but then they declined to publish it so we may as well. You will have to download the chart which is used with permission from Albero della Vita. It comes from the first meetin...

I wrote this for the UK BD magazine Star and Furrow, It seems apt here as it collects the clay prep information of which I am aware. There are a few rodent experiences. You could look at Farmer Balliet's experience on his melons in the USA using MouseCare. I used a variation on a mouse pepper for rats in the UK. Again it is not proof but we have not had the rats back in our garden after one application and that is about 10 months...

Hello Dr Cato I have used one in our sewage ponds. I'm assuming that your issue is that you have algae and you would like to not have algae. Our situation was different. I wanted to try and assist the pond to bear an organic load and the algae are an important part of that digestive capacity. In ant...
