I will be giving a talk at the George cafe in Newnham, Gloucestershire, UK on 12 Nov 2010 at 7:30pm. It is entitled, 'Homeopathy for Plants ... yeah right!" It is free and if you are in the area do come by. If any one wants me to come and talk about any aspect of the work of Considera at other ...

Plants grown in darkness
QUANTEC brings light into the dark Plants react to sunlight. They do this, amongst other things, by opening gaps on the underside of the leaf, which are called stomata. Professors Rogalla and Krönke tested whether these gaps are also opened if the plants are left in the dark, and treated only with v...

You can see some images of our meeting at Dr Waris' web site. Of course, I mention this mainly so you can read about his description of us both.

Just to confirm that Dr Waris now has some of his preparations fully legal in Pakistan by having trials done by the authorities and demonstrating efficacy, and dealing with the question of residues etc. You can get to his information elsewhere in this forum or by www.wspharmacy.com

H/Dr Iftikhar Waris
Dr Waris was good enough to show me his work. He has done several excellent things, not the least of which is to get his homeopathic preparations accepted by the authorities in Pakistan as bona fide agricultural inputs. Just as important for this whole work is that he has had several of his preparat...

Actually this wasn't mine. It is under my name only because I put it up but it was a quote from someone on the BDNow! list - see the first line of the original. It would seem, on face value, that timing was not considered but with a little detective work you could find the original poster and ask th...

Re: NZ slugs from BdNow
... At the time I was reading Maria Thun and RS Ag book and picked up the following idea, and that is to collect the slugs and snails and let them rot in some water and then spray this over the crop. We did this - just a small scale in the garden - sprayed three times in succession - (three days) c...

NZ slugs from BdNow
Quotation from a posting to the biodynamic forum BdNow on 22 June 2010. In 1995/96 I had a major problem with slugs and snails on an acre of flowering daffodils. At the time I was reading Maria Thun and RS Ag book and picked up the following idea, and that is to collect the slugs and snails and let ...

BD basics
Our team of translators have finished one of the basic texts from Enzo - 'Basis of BD in Nine Meetings'. It is simpler and more approachable than many of the other texts he has written. These were meeting held in the 1990s so you can also trace Enzo's progress. I recommend this one!

Flies
From BdNow 24/5/10 I had flies in my compost big time. My fault I did not get the ratio right. Anyway I captured some of the flies and maggots. About 20 of each, put them in a can with straw and lit it ablaze. The ash was gray and white. I then put it in a 2 liter bottle of distilled water, vortex-e...
