Notes and Academic Papers
'I put 50 ml of 'mouse scare' in a tonne of water and sprayed it around our French melon patch and there were about 100% less VOLES in that area compared to the unsprayed area. (hey, I was farming!) It's approved for use on organic land, there is no set aside time on crops, and costs reasonably per Ha. Farmer Balliett reckons he has earned $600 extra this year alone. Voles continued to romp and chomp unabaited in the adjoining sweet potato patch, which, for a variety of reasons, I never sprayed. (58)
